Gorge Trail Kiosk Information

  Keep Those Spring Pictures Coming

While the Gorge Trail offers the prospect of a leisurely walk beneath the walls of the siltstone ridges, one should not fail to spot the opportunity to become familiar with the history of the area from archival photos dating back to the late 1880’s. The stories of the original Red Bridge, the Meriden, Waterbury & Connecticut River Railroad bed on which the multi-use trail is built, Oregon Dam, Toboggan Bridge and Boy Scout Island,  all are displayed within informational kiosks along the trail.

Detailed views of the kiosk may be found at photos of The Quinnipiac River Gorge Trail Kiosks

Informational kiosks were created by Prentis Printing Solutions, a leading high quality printing service to clients in Central Connecticut
